The White Sea Bass Often make their appearance during the late summer months when the squid (Calimari) show up in the Monterey Bay.

- White Sea Bass, belong to the genus Sciaenidae. Scientific Classification : Atractoscion nobilis
- The White Sea Bass is not really a 'Sea Bass'- It is a member of the Croaker Family and is often called a 'King Croaker'.
- The diet of white seabass includes fishes (especially anchovies and sardines) and squid.
- White Sea Bass usually travel in schools over deep rocky bottoms and throughout kelp beds but are fished primarily with live or fresh bait in relatively shallow waters.
- White Sea Bass are known for its Large Size and Terrific Flavor.
