Rock Cod and Ling Cod Fishing over the years has seen numerous restrictions enacted, however it is still a Great Fishery - especially for the youth. Everyone catches some rock fish. A Sense of accomplishment - with Limits to near limits on each trip! The Rock fish tend to run anywhere from 1 to 6 pounds each. If a Ling Cod is caught, it can run 10 to 30 pounds.

- Cod is a common name for nearly 60 species of a family of valuable food fishes. Other fish in the same order are also known as cod, such as the deep-sea cod, ‘Red Snapper’ and Ling Cod
- Rock Cod and Ling Cod Provides for an excellent meal and can be eaten fresh baked, broiled, fried or grilled
- Cod live chiefly in cold or temperate waters near the bottom and rock beds. The ling is carnivorous and feeds mostly on other fish and is the largest known fish in the cod family
