12 - 18 - 2011 -- Been a Very Good Week as we experienced Decent Weather and watched some Friendly Gray Whales Pass thru Monterey and there are still a few Humpback Whales in the Bay
12 - 11 - 2011 -- The Gray Whales Have Started Their Annual Migration-Passing Thru the Monterey Bay Headed South to Baja! Plus there have been a few Killer Whales in the Bay the Past Few Days
12 - 03 - 2011 -- Whale Watching Has been Very Good Lately with Sightings of Humback Whales, Variety of Dolphin and even a few days with the Killer Whales.
11 - 19 - 2011 -- Sunny Clear Weather with Risso Dolphin, Humpback Whales & a Variety of Sea Birds Throughout the Bay
11 - 18 - 2011 -- Beautiful Day On the Bay Today! Flat Calm & No Wind---A Wonderful Group of People from BASF Canada Joined us this Morning and were Treated to 100 Risso Dolphin, 60 Northern Right Whale Dolphin and 2 Humpbacks then went to have a Terrific Lunch at Domenico's on the Wharf
11 - 13 - 2011 -- The last Couple Days for The Whale Watching Has Been Great as well With Quite a Few Humpback Whales & Dolphin in the Bay....Not to Mention Having Good Weather Also!
11 - 09 - 2011 -- Oh What a BEAUTIFUL Day on Monterey Bay--- Sunny & Calm Seas! For the Whale Watchers there were Humpback Whales
11 - 06 - 2011 -- This past week has been Good Whale Watching....especially after having trips that were a bit sporadic.... This Week we have had sightings of Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Risso Dolphin & Harbor Porpoise.

09 - 09 - 2011 -- It seems that the Humpback Whales have returned after a brief hiatus...Today there were several Humpbacks in the Bay doing fun things like Spy-hopping and 'Playing' in the Kelp
09 - 08 - 2011 -- Very Nice, Productive Day Watching the Humpback Whales and Bottle Nose Dolphin in the Bay
09 - 07 - 2011 -- Experiencing Fabulous Weather! The Whales have been less than co-operative the last couple days, with a Lone Humpback Whale finally being spotted this afternoon.
09 - 05 - 2011 -- WOW! What a DAY on Old Fisherman's Wharf - Lots of Wonderful People Visiting the Area for the Holiday. FINALLY after a couple very Tough Trips , The Whale Watching paid off.... BLUE WHALES, KILLER WHALES & DOLPHIN...
09 - 04 - 2011 -- Excellent Sea Conditions..... but the Whales are just too elusive...Bummer... Did See an Elephant Seal and a Mola Mola . Believe the Feed has Moved & whales go where the feed is.... They'll be Back!!
09 - 03 - 2011 -- An Interesting Day on the Bay...With pretty Decent weather, there were Humpback Whales & a Blue Whale in the morning & only Harbor Porpoise in the afternoon....such is the Sealife of the Bay
09 - 01 - 2011 -- Very Nice Day on the #Monterey Bay Today with Decent Weather. The Whale Watchers Spotted a Couple Humpback Whales, sadly they were not as 'co-operative' as we would have liked, but seeing the Dolphin was fun.
08 - 28 - 2011 -- Morning Fog Hampered visibility for the a.m. Whale Watching trip when finally a Lone Humpback was spotted. The Afternoon Trip Faired Much Better with a Pod of Humpbacks showing off their Flukes numerous times
08 - 27 - 2011 -- The Last couple of Days Whale Watching has been interesting and variable in sightings of Orcas-(Killer Whales), Humpback Whales(Some Breaching + Mother & Calf), Blue Whales, Risso Dolphins, Common Harbor Porpoise and Leatherback Sea Turtles. Every Trip is a Different Experience!
08 - 15 - 2011 -- Another Beautiful, Sunny Day! With Decent Waters in the a.m. & a bit of 'chop' in the p.m. we still had good looks at Humpback Whales
08 - 14 - 2011 -- Finally - Sunshiney Day! Today with several Humpback Whales & Risso Dolphin.
08 - 13 - 2011 -- TOUGH DAY!! Unfortunately we did not see any whales in the a.m. & the p.m. trip had some Risso Dolphin + a Basking Shark. There was talk of a Single Orca(Killer Whale) moving quickly way south- that we did not get to see.
08 - 12 - 2011 -- Another Cold & Over Cast Day in Monterey Bay observing the Humpback Whales
08 - 11 - 2011 -- Even tho it was an Overcast Day there were Great Sea Conditions as we Watched a Couple of Humpback Whales mill around the Bay Today

07 - 04 - 2011 -- HAPPY FOURTH of JULY!!! -- What a Blistery Day on Monterey Bay for the Whale Watching! The Wind presented a Challenge but we were still able to Enjoy Sightings of Blue Whales & Humpback Whales as they fed on the Rich Nutrients offered. Veiwers were also given the Very Rare Opportunity to See the Blue Whale display their Pectoral Fins Slapping (Like -"Waving Hello" to all) the Water.

Sander Arts Chartered the 'Chubasco' for an Afternoon of fishing for himself & 4 Fun Guys from Holland.. The 5 of them Had their Limits with 3 Vermillion + 1 Ling - THANKS Sander - We are Happy We Could Provide You a Good Time :)

09 - 07 - 2011 -- The Rock Cod Fisherman Continue to get their LIMITS -- The 9 Anglers today had their Limits with a dozen Vermillion + 3 Nice Ling Cods
09 - 04 - 2011 -- The Rock Cod was as usual very Good. The 37 Anglers aboard the 'CHUBASCO' had their LIMITS with 80 Vermillion(RED SNAPPER) +2 Ling Cod
09 - 03 - 2011 -- The Rock Cod fisherman had their Limits of assorted Cod(Including some Very Nice Vermillion) with a few Ling Cod Keepers for those anglers aboard the "SUR RANDY" The Lings Caught aboard 'CHUBASCO' unfortunately had to be released
08 - 28 - 2011 -- Rock Cod Fishing had a slow bite but the quality was good with a couple Ling caught as well. They ended their day just a few shy of limits for the 19 anglers aboard 'CHUBASCO'

08 - 18 - 2011 -- 12 Rock Cod Fisherman had their early limits (including 12 very Nice Reds)+ 1 Ling

The 25 anglers aboard 'CHUBASCO' ended their day with 190 Cod, 18 Vermillion & No Ling Cod Keepers after returning 12 Short Ling. 06 - 26 - 2011 -- The vessel 'Sur Randy' ventured out for some Monterey Fishing and Caught Limits of Very Nice assorted Rock Cod for their 24 Anglers. Limits included about 50 Vermillion (aka-Red Snapper). Also had 6 Ling Cod Keepers after returning 40 short ones. A Great Day on Monterey Bay !!
06 - 25 - 2011 -- The Local Monterey Fishing has been better than Big Sur Fishing lately. Todays Group of 31 Anglers aboard the 'Chubasco' realized that with their limits of assorted Cod including 35 Vermillion. After Returning 30 undersized Ling Cod, There was only 1 Keeper Ling - The Best Part of that is that a Young Girl(8-10 years old) on Her FIRST Fishing Trip was One that Kept That Nice Ling.

08 - 28 - 2011 -- Salmon had been hopeful but turned out to be very slow with only a few Shakers caught & released for the 6 anglers aboard 'SUR RANDY'
08 - 27 - 2011 -- Fishing is Fishing....The Salmon and Sea Bass have been a bit evasive, while Rock Cod continues to be worthwhile with nice quality assorted Cod Limits + a few Lings. Tomorrow is a New Day & with some Good Signs a Salmon Catch is Hopeful

04 - 08 - 2011 -- After yesterdays terrible weather we were able to get out & do some Salmon Fishing today with some fairly decent weather. 'Chubasco' ended the day with a count of 7 Salmon (averaging 12 pounds), threw back 2 and missed 5. Not a bad day for the 9 anglers.
04 - 06 - 2011 -- The day started out nice then the weather turned and made the day very challenging. The 'Chubasco' had 7 Anglers and Returned with 2 nice Salmon. There were missed bites and 2 'shakers' were thrown back, So there is opportunity.
04 - 05 - 2011 -- Challenging Day! Alot of Wind! What a difference a day makes. After having to throw back 6 'shakers' the Chubasco returned with 7 Salmon. Tomorrow is another Day.
04 - 04 - 2011 -- A Wonderful Day with Fab Weather! 'Chubasco' Had 14 very Fine Salmon averaging 12 pounds each.

04 - 03- 2011 -- Anglers aboard the 'Chubasco' returned from a full day of Salmon Fishing with 16 Beautiful Salmon averaging 12 pounds each. The Weather was less challenging. With a Good Morning Bite, plenty of action slowing down by afternoon it still proved to be a productive day.
04 - 02 - 2011 -- The Salmon Fishing Opened with quite a bit of Activity with Salmon scattered throughout the Bay. The Boats returned with some very Nice Salmon today - even after throwing back alot of under sized Salmon. This New Season is off to a Great Start!
