Peter Bruno, Owner of Randy's Fishing TripsPeter Bruno - THE BOSS - is a third generation descendent of a Sicilian commercial fisherman who immigrated to the Monterey Bay. He was born and raised in Monterey where the fishing industry was an integral part of the community. His parents also worked in the Sardine industry (mother as a Cannery Worker and father as a commercial fisherman) of Monterey. He graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Parks and Recreation Management and served as Recreation Superintendent for the City of Monterey for 13 years. In 1981, Peter purchased Randy’s with a vision and commitment to the future in providing superior fishing trips, whale watching trips and new innovative programs such as specialized school trips and Photo Expeditions which focus on the education and photography of the Monterey Bays diversified Marine Wildlife. Additionally, Peter maintains the tradition of providing quality service customers have anticipated since 1949.

Chrissy, Manager of Randy's Fishing TripsChrissy - THE OTHER BOSS - born in the south and raised along the Florida Coast (and other fine Southern States) reluctantly relocated to the Monterey Bay area when her husband was transferred to Fort Ord in 1986.  With the abundance of history, nature and beauty, it did not take long to realize that this area was the place to be.   After settling in, Chrissy’s husband, an avid fisherman began fishing with Randy’s frequently when the opportunity to become a member of the Randy’s team was presented, Chrissy promptly united with Peter and the valued crew to ensure that Randy’s tradition continued.
