The deckhand will fillet your fish for a nominal fee depending on the type of fish.

Tipping Etiquette: If you had a good time and if your crew worked hard for you, it is appropriate to tip, especially the deckhand, as his salary is based on a small percentage of the fare. A standard tip is $5 per person; however, if you had more than your share of problems, i.e., tangles, needed more help baiting up, etc. or if you landed a big fish with his help, a little extra tip will be appreciated, especially if you win a jackpot! (Many large groups put money into a jackpot for the largest fish.)

You can improve your catch rate on any of our trips if you follow the instructions of your captain and deckhand. They are the pros and they are there to help you catch fish and have a good time.
